Dear Co-op Community,
Thank you for your continued support and appreciation of your Co-op during this difficult time. We are continuing to work daily to adjust to operating our store during a pandemic.
The State of Indiana has issued its “Back on Track” roadmap to safely reopen our economy. At Maple City Market we continue to maintain protocol to help avoid the further spread of COVID-19.
Our staff have been working hard through this crisis to serve you. We cannot praise or thank them enough. All staff working in-store are receiving $3.00/hour additional hazard pay. We will maintain this extra pay incentive until it is no longer financially feasible to do so.
- Regular Store Shopping Hours:
- Monday thru Saturday, 10am–9pm
- Sunday, 10am-8pm
- Priority Shopping hours:
- Monday-Saturday 8am-10am
- These times are intended for senior shoppers and otherwise at-risk or immuno-compromised.
Face Coverings Required
For everyone’s safety, we ask that all customers please wear a mask or face covering. We require the same of our staff members and vendors in the store.
Social Distancing: Customers and employees are expected to maintain 6-foot distance. We recognize this is difficult in the grocery aisles. We ask that you respect this distancing and please give staff and other customers clear passage. If you need help, please ask for assistance from 6-feet away.
We are only allowing a maximum of 8 customers in the store at any one time. When you see the STOP sign outside the fornt entrance, please wait for the next customer to exit.
Please limit your shopping trips and fill your basket when you shop.
When possible, please limit your party to one shopper.
Cashier Protection Shields: We were the first grocery store in Goshen to install plexiglass barriers at our register lanes. This provides an extra layer of precaution for our cashiers and customers, as we are unable to provide 6-foot distance at check out.
Please know we are regularly sanitizing shopping carts, door handles, bulk bins, our register lanes, and other touch points throughout the store and throughout the day. Hand sanitizer is available near the front of the store for customer use.
Much of our Bulk Foods that were sold out of scoop bins are now being repacked into containers for sale. Please ask if you cannot find the product you are looking for.
Bulk Foods Containers & Bags: At this time, we ask that you not bring your own food bags or containers to shop for bulk foods. The exceptions to this are jugs for our RO water dispenser and kombucha dispenser which remain open at this time. Rubber gloves are available for use in the bulk foods area.
Holds / Special Orders / Returns
During this time we are unable to put items on hold or receive returns. We are currently accepting orders for special orders on a case-by-case basis.
Deli Soups Available Cold
We will maintain a variety of repacked deli soups in our cold deli case. For your convenience, soups are packed in microwavable containers.
Cash vs. Cards
We will continue to accept cash for customers for whom cash is the only option, but at this time we prefer card transactions. All card transactions are being run as touchless transactions.
Supply Chain Issues
We have thus far been able to keep most of our essential products on the shelf, with a few key exceptions. We are utilizing many of local and smaller vendors to fill in where our larger suppliers are out of stock. Thank you local vendors!
Unable to Do Your Own Shopping?
We offer curbside pick-up to all our shoppers!

We anticipate that we will continue to make changes to our business operations to protect our staff and community. We will keep you updated on social media, our website, and through email.
